Common Crane
Grus grus

The first Severnside record involved 2 birds over Severn Beach in January 2000 with a total of 17 records, 34 birds and the biggest group of 4 by April 2026. The records up to 2016 were of wild birds but some the records since then may have involved reintroduced birds. Now almost annual with all but 2 birds by the end of 2025 being flyover records.
